Tuition
The tuition is due on the first lesson of every month and no refunds are offered. If a payment has not been received by the 10th of the month, a late fee of $10 will be assessed. Two make-up lessons are offered a year for times of illness or emergency. Please, notify me as soon as possible about absence and I will do my best to find a time for a make up; make-up lessons will not be provided if I was not notified about the absence in a timely manner. You are responsible for any bank charges incurred because of returned checks. Acceptable forms of payment include CASH and CHECK, made out to Alina’s Music Studio.
Attendance Policy & Make-Up Lessons
Please arrive several minutes before your lesson’s start time. Students who are late for the lesson cannot be guaranteed their full lesson time.
There will be no lessons on Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, or Independence Day. Other holiday lessons will be at the discretion of the teacher, and students/parents will be notified of such. Alternative time slot will be offered at the mutual convenience for the student and teacher.
Lessons that are cancelled due to inclement weather can be made up upon request of the student.
If a make-up lesson is cancelled by the student, it will not be made up.

Please make sure the violin comes with a bow, rosin, and clamp on or sponge shoulder rest. Each student will need a music staff notebook. A list of required books will be given to each student by the end of first month of enrollment.

Recitals
At least two recitals will be offered throughout the year. Attendance of other recitals is strongly encouraged.
